Our 50 Year 3 children had a fantastic time learning how to be engineers with Amanda. They enjoyed the 2 sessions and used the knowledge gained from the first session as a prototype to sharpen their design process and learn from other groups. There was a lot of collaboration in order to link everyone's ideas in the group.
Amanda, thank you for coming and sharing your love of books and STEAM with us. The children loved the sessions and have not stopped talking about it!

About Me
I created Creokit because I saw a need. Until recently I was a passionate Librarian in Christchurch New Zealand. When a back injury forced me to make a change, I started CreoKit. I ran a successful STEAM makerspace at the library and saw the amazing benefits the children gained.
The excitement and enthusiasm generated in a makerspace session brings out their potential and allows them to think in new and exciting ways.
To explore, design and create to come up with unique solutions.
To learn new skills, experiment with new processes and then to use those new skills to design and invent something new. It boosts confidence and allows children to shine in new areas.
My aim was to make STEAM easy.
For teachers and children.
So nothing stood in the way of learning and making.
All our kits have been tried and tested on kids to ensure they work and are enjoyable. All you need to do is open the box and begin. We have taken care of all the planning, purchasing and organising so all that is left is the experience.
